Job Description

This role will be on-site to support one of our largest enterprise level clients. We are actively recruiting for the following on site locations; Sunnyvale CA, San Diego CA, Chicago IL, Atlanta GA, New York NY, Seattle WA, Austin TX, and Boulder CO. Please be located or in a commutable distance to one of the above metro areas to be considered for this role!

Our team works closely with product and engineering organizations to develop and improve customer knowledge about Google’s products. We are champions of promoting product knowledge through data-driven insights, driving timelines and holding project deliverables accountable.


Job Description

The Project Manager team delivers a variety of strategic (e.g., quarterly amp; annual business planning, integration of new product support, customer experience strategy) and operational initiatives (e.g., evaluation, management and deliverable tracking of cross-functional training initiatives). This is a strategic role requiring you to work with Google executives as well as with cross-functional and global teams. As a Project Manager you provide project leadership, thought leadership, business judgment, and analytical insight to support customer centric initiatives globally. You drive implementation, executing on your responsibilities while getting the best out of individuals throughout the company.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver global projects to evolve and transform the learning experience for Google’s customers and support agents across multiple products.
  • Provide end to end leadership of projects from requirements definition to deployment, along with communication, issue and risk management.
  • Scope, prioritize, and project manage initiatives to ensure a successful execution of projects.
  • Develop compelling, insightful recommendations based on quality data analysis and lead execution against recommendations quickly and with flawless accuracy.
  • Drive improvements to team processes, workflows, and strategy.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to all levels in the company.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience managing projects across functions like product, support, and engineering, to build sustainable processes and coordinate release schedules.
  • Excellent project management, execution and planning skills, and ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
  • Proven track record prioritizing multiple requests, and managing/mitigating risks while transparently managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Team-oriented work style with proven expertise in problem-solving and innovation.
  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required with ability to influence.
  • 2+ years experience in influencing stakeholders at higher levels and across countries.
  • Ability to build flowcharts, business process models, mapping tools, data flow diagrams, and process flow diagrams



Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management or Computer Science, or equivalent 2 years experience is required.
  • Knowledge of product development and software development lifecycles.
  • Knowledge of learning development lifecycles.
  • Experience in automation, operational excellence, or continuous improvement techniques.
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads or other Google product(s) and demonstrated passion for the user experience.

  • Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, etc.
  • Extended time viewing a computer monitor
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods of time
  • Occasional irregular work hours
