This role will be on-site to support one of our largest enterprise level clients. The Project Manager team delivers a variety of strategic (e.g., quarterly amp; annual business planning, integration of new product support, customer experience strategy) and operational initiatives (e.g., evaluation, management and deliverable tracking of cross-functional training initiatives). This is a strategic role requiring you to work with our client’s executives as well as with cross-functional and global teams. As a Project Manager you provide project leadership, thought leadership, business judgment, and analytical insight to support customer centric initiatives globally. You drive implementation, executing on your responsibilities while getting the best out of individuals throughout the company.


Job Description

The Project Manager Supervisor duties will include being part of a cross-functional global team focused on supporting Sales, Product and Engineering teams to develop better tools and services to improve products based on evolving user needs. Your current project is with our client’s Customer Interaction Management Solution (CIMS) team as a Project Manager with the following responsibilities:


  • Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the evaluation, management, and deliverable tracking of cross-functional training initiatives which will include working to ensure deliverables are properly scoped and budgeted.
  • Routine PM activities will include managing all incoming requests for on-boarding and training management support, ensuring that requests are properly scoped and budgeted to ensure timely delivery.
  • Additionally, a PM will support the creation of a partnership prioritization and capacity strategy, ensuring all partnerships are staffed and tracked correctly.


As the Project Manager Supervisor you will assist the Managed Services Manager in managing capacity, assignments, and success within the specific department they are assigned. This includes working with the Managed Services Manager and Program Manager on upcoming projects, delegating tasks and communicating associated statuses to all relevant stakeholders. You will also serve as the first point of contact within your team in supporting day to day operations. This includes managing work allocation, communicating coverage plans in partnership with the Managed Services Manager, and ensuring the department completes all requirements as tasked within deadline. You will also be responsible for proactively escalating any issues or concerns to a Program manager or Managed Services Manager if or when deliverables are missed, in advance of deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Project Manager Supervisor will add the following increased responsibilities:

  • Supervise a team of Project Managers (Time off requests, permanence management, etc).
  • Determine team capacity and delegate tasks as assigned by Managed Services Manager/Program Manager
  • Ensure requirements and deadlines are understood by assigned member
  • Remain in consistent communication with team and Program Manager on status
  • Answer team questions about tasks, involving Program Manager as needed
  • Recommend process improvements that would benefit team efficiency
  • Notify Team Lead of coverage issues to ensure smooth operations
  • Escalate launch blocking issues to Program Manager and performance concerns to Team Lead

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience managing projects across functions like product, support, and engineering, to build sustainable processes and coordinate release schedules.
  • Excellent project management, execution and planning skills, and ability to keep multiple priorities moving at the same time.
  • Proven track record prioritizing multiple requests, and managing/mitigating risks while transparently managing stakeholder expectations.
  • Team-oriented work style with proven expertise in problem-solving and innovation.
  • Excellent writing, communication, presentation and interpersonal skills required with ability to influence.
  • 2+ years experience in influencing stakeholders at higher levels and across countries.
