Job Description

UWorld is seeking a Product Marketing Manager to focus on our student-focused Accounting/CPA suite of products.

QUALIFICATIONS:

JOB DUTIES (including but not limited to):

Campaign Prep amp; Misc.

  • Produce compelling and effective digital marketing campaigns
  • Oversee and manage forum marketing strategy
  • Create and regularly measure and report metrics to gauge success
  • Own assigned pieces of the UWorld marketing plan
  • Recommend and edit necessary collateral to support product offerings
  • Enforce UWorld design/brand standards

Market Research

  • Perform comprehensive, detailed market research on target market(s) including competitive analysis
  • Define buyer personas, target markets, and how buyers consume their media and make decisions
  • Outline buy cycles
  • Define product pricing
  • Report on industry trends and recommend actions to position UWorld ahead of competition

Marketing Strategy

  • Work with marketing strategists and product owner to define a B2C product marketing strategy
  • Serve as the embedded B2C product marketing specialist
  • Define and refine product differentiators and market positioning
  • Recommend conference attendance and sponsorships

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Demonstrable digital B2C marketing experience
  • Exceptional market research and reporting skills
  • Ability to define and report metrics of success
  • Superior organizational and self-motivation skills
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools and platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to react in a constructive manner to direct feedback and constructive criticism
  • Preference given to candidates with E-Learning, Accounting/CPA, and exam prep market experience

Requirements

Minimum Education Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or related field required; master’s degree preferred

Minimum Experience Required

  • Five years’ experience in a prior mid-level marketing position
  • High importance: Demonstrable B2C digital marketing experience, including social media marketing strategy
    • Preference will be given to those who have this type of experience within the Accounting/CPA space
