Product Culture

At First Dollar, Product Management is an extremely collaborative effort between engineering, design, analytics and customer-facing teams. You’d join an existing team of product-minded people who have a track record of successfully building large-scale products that have been deployed around the world. You will gain deep exposure into the inner workings of the United States finance and healthcare systems. Senior Product Manager, Partner Team (Consumer Directed Health)

You’ll be on the ground floor contributing to the development of First Dollar’s Partner amp; Manager apps from concept to release with a laser-focus on our strategic partners and administration manager end-users. Our ideal Senior Product Manager has built products for scaling businesses with various stakeholders, cares deeply about building for and working with customers, has extreme attention to detail, concisely communicates complex concepts, can lead a cross-functional build team, and is equally excited about the hard problems.

You will be responsible for:

  • Expanding functionality of our Partner and Manager apps and services with a focus on streamlining administration of tax-advantaged benefits (HSAs, FSAs, HRAs, Commuter) and supplemental benefits (lifestyle/wellness/flex).
  • Deeply understanding the needs of third party administrators, health plan administrators, brokers, and HR managers who are using our tools to design, deploy, and manage administration of benefits.
  • Defining, measuring, and reporting on key performance indicators to measure success.

Requirements

  • You have 5+ years of experience in an enterprise product management role across managing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • You have experience managing software products from idea to ship date and have an entrepreneurial drive.
  • You obsess about continuous product improvement and can optimize for shipping a portfolio of sm, md amp; lg releases.
  • You are a creative product thinker who loves collaborating across the company with engineering, analytics, marketing, design and sales.
  • You are motivated by the chance to improve the lives of your customers.
  • You have strong written and verbal communication skills with a talent for precisely articulating customer problems.
  • You do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful, no matter how big or small the issue may be.
  • You can turn incomplete, conflicting, or ambiguous inputs into solid action plans.
  • You have experience working on financial, healthcare, or e-commerce products.
