Job Description
KTP has an opening for a Press Operator Supervisor to add to our Beach City, Ohio facility. The Press Operator Supervisor leads the employees to safely produce the customer’s product to the appropriate quality standard in a manner consistent with customer expectations and KTP’s policies and procedures. This includes production efficiencies, waste control, human resource, safety, and quality concerns or issues.
Our ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to learn to change out dies, troubleshoot and repair equipment. Candidate must have good leadership and communication qualities, focus on accountability to drive results, and must be willing to push production and always focus on safety.
Requirements
- Requires a high school diploma or GED. An associate’s degree in supervision or operations management is preferred.
- Prior experience (2-4 years) supervising production employees in a manufacturing environment.
- Requires strong organizational and time-management skills with good attention to detail and ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple projects.
- Must have the ability to operate, or be trained to operate, the following equipment: hand jack, drum dolly, clamp truck, scissors lift, powered hoist, powered floor scrubber, and safety cage set up.
- Must have strong analytical/problem solving skills.
- Strong project management skills
- Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Power Point), experience with Google Suite.
- Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion with information.
