Archimedes Global is currently recruiting an Acquisition Specialist to join our team in Washington, DC.

The selected individual will:

• Manage the procurement package for all logistics tasking
• Have a thorough understanding and applied experience with SOWs, SOOs, IGCEs, Jamp;As, contractual Terms and Conditions, financial accounting, invoicing, RFP prep, and proposal evaluation
• Develop/ensure requirements and implementation strategies comply with USCG logistics directives and supportability parameters
• Working knowledge of supply chain management
• Support development of logistics acquisition milestone requirements and associated procurements for C-130 logistics materials and/or services

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years of experience required (5yrs of experience may be used in lieu of degree)
• Ability to manage telework technically and seamlessly as required; to include attending, hosting, or managing telework meetings as required (Proficiency in telework software required ie: Zoom, Skype, MS Teams, etc.)
• Strong time management skills, to include calendar organization and precision
• Compliance with Executive Order 14042 , FAR 52.223-99 clause (Ensuring Adequate COVID -19 Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors) required (proof required)

Desired Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in contracts/acquisition and logistics
• Experience in Coast Guard (CG) procedures (CG aeronautical practices as defined in Commandant Instruction Manual CIM 13020.1 (series), utilizing FedLog, Asset Computerized Maintenance System (ACMS), Asset Logistics Management Information System (ALMIS), and Asset Maintenance Management Information System (AMMIS))
• Secret security clearance
