You’ll enjoy working with web developers, sales account executives, data scientists, future customers, and product managers. You’re an experienced engineer who knows how to grow a team, deliver high quality code, communicate technical solutions with empathy, and improve workflows for your team.
About the Position
As the Engineering Manager for our Prospect Solutions team, you’ll work with future customers to identify areas of improvement in their search experiences. Your specific responsibilities will include:
- Collaborating with sales, data science, product, and other engineering teams to demonstrate the value that Constructor provides to customer prospects
- Leading the recruiting and hiring processes for your team
- Guiding the career growth of engineers, helping them advance in their careers and overcome any challenges along the way
- Improving our tech stack, source code, tooling, and testing
- Supporting the team with thoughtful code reviews, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Learning and improving existing patterns that leverage Node, React, Elastic Search, jQuery, and other tools
Requirements
- 5+ years of web development experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication, leadership, and management skills
- Experienced with e-commerce web applications amp; full stack web development patterns
- Enjoys collaborating with sales, customers amp; engineers to solve new problems daily
- Excited to help fuel the continued success of our high-growth startup
