THE ROLE:
- Lead building and managing our Network Operations Center (NOC) Team as we rapidly scale in the US and foreign markets
- Develop and manage leading edge NOC dashboards and toolsets necessary to manage our cutting-edge wireless network in partnership with our Engineering team
- Build and manage an effective, motivated, and satisfied team as Aervivo grows
- Lead our network monitoring and incident management process to ensure our networks are maintained and proper visibility, escalation, and tracking of all service interruptions and network maintenance projects are reported accurately in our project plans and analytics
- Direct the preparation of a variety of written correspondence, reports, procedures, directives and other materials to our customers and their leadership teams
- Lead new initiatives to build the capabilities of the NOC and Aervivo overall
Requirements
SKILLS amp; REQUIREMENTS:
- Computer science or network engineering degree, or significant experience in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years’ people management experience in a network operations environment leading critical, service impacting responses through the phases of incident management and working with offshore teams
- Ability to diagnose work flow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to dissect operational data and present to senior leadership to direct actions and initiatives
- Strong working knowledge of the technical aspects of network technologies and standards across the OSI layers, including BGP, MPLS, OSPF, and VPN fundamentals
- Working knowledge of Linux and VM
- Highly motivated and organized with the ability to multitask effectively
- CCNA or CCNP with practical network experience
- Standard working hours but must be available to support your team in responding to incidents as needed
- This position is US based and remote
