THE ROLE:
Our Operations team is charged with helping our partners rapidly launch, scale and sustain networks delivering a new class of connectivity wirelessly through our platform to their customers. As a leader on the team, you are part solutions architect and part execution leader effectively setting our partners’ project build design and direction, making sure their construction teams execute effectively in the field as they build out our technologies.
As a solutions architect you will build processes and capabilities that service each of our partners and are readily scalable across our business to enable faster, more efficient growth. You will also develop and manage strategic vendor relationships to further develop our deployment and maintenance capabilities in a rapid scaling environment.
As an execution leader you will engineer and manage multiple simultaneous projects, from issuance of required engineering documentation through managing the entire installation lifecycle; in particular to resolve technical issues as they present themselves. You will be the conduit between our partners and our business development, customer success and engineering teams, representing the project’s needs and client interests, ensuring we deliver.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in Telecom, Fiber and Wireless outside plant infrastructure design and construction, including an in depth understanding of low voltage and fiber distribution on wireless rooftop sites, working with contractors through the design, contract and build phases of complex projects
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or a related technical field preferred
- Experienced with construction project management, including negotiating and coordinating overall schedules across design, engineering, construction and end-of-job activities, including audits, managing punch lists and creating handover packages to ensure as-builts comply to designs, standards and regulations
- Proven track record of managing relationships with multiple vendors, including sourcing, managing best practices and compliance, and conducting audits and periodic business reviews to uphold quality of work and ensure continuous improvement
- Ability to partner cross functionally with business development, engineering and operations to educate our partners about the superiority of our solution, including supporting conference calls, site visits, technical reviews and proposals
- While the majority of the role is focused on physical construction of wireless and fiber connectivity solutions, basic networking skills and experience working with Linux would be an advantage to be able to assist in a limit amount of device provisioning
- Must be able to travel domestically in the US approximately 1 week per month
