As part of this ecosystem of shared services, our Growth team is responsible for the strategy and execution of acquisition, activation and retention initiatives for portfolio companies in a range of industries and verticals, including consumer products, fintech, B2B SaaS, marketplaces, agencies, and more. Our portfolio is growing fast, and we are growing our team to match.

Loeb.NYC is looking for a Social Media Manager to help launch, grow and establish social presence across several of our early stage start-up companies. The candidate will focus on content creation for FB/IG, Tik Tok, Twitter, Discord, and/or Linkedin growth, community engagement, making this a multi-disciplinary role that requires an individual who is open to wearing multiple hats that range from: content creator, creative storyteller, strategic thinker, to social marketer.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage amp; execute on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok content strategy, monthly content calendars, and daily postings that prompt engagement.
  • Build out Monthly Content Calendar that will include:
    • Detailed outline of daily posts, that will utilize Instagram’s different post features
    • Outline of a Weekly Series that encourages Member UGC and participation
  • Manage reporting and analytics on Hootsuite or Later.com as well as influencer activations on this channel.
  • Lead social platform growth via: outreach, influencer partnerships, cross-promotion on portfolio company's other owned-channels, and interacting with/making comments on content where relevant, to establish social presence.
  • Prompt Member engagement by responding to comments
  • Identify and execute new community activation and strategic opportunities to build engagement among current and new Members through relevant content (CTAs for UGC, influencer partnerships, and industry-relevant moments)
  • Conduct outreach to industry thought-leaders via Twitter, Email, Instagram and other social media channels to coordinate partnerships + collaboration.
  • Conduct group prospecting, as well as outreach targeted at FB, IG, TikTok Growth.
  • Develop expertise in subject matter, and actively engage in conversation with followers, correct misperceptions, and ask questions to share feedback with Loeb Growth Marketing team.

Qualifications + Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2+ years in a Community Manager or Social Media Marketing related role, preferably for a well known brand creating compelling stories, content amp; campaigns.
  • Proven track record of social media follower growth in start-up companies
  • 2+ years managing a Content Calendar and Content Operations.
  • Digitally and social savvy with a passion for digital innovation, evolving trends, platforms and ability to think both creatively amp; analytically.
  • An intermediate understanding with social media platforms such as: Twitter, IG, TikTok, etc.
  • Experience translating insights, ideas, and data into customer value.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills and experience leading or overseeing communications.
  • Strong time management and rapid (re)prioritization skills, with ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Expertise in growing social follower counts.
  • A conceptual thinker who can think out-of-the-box when it comes to content, campaigns, and engagement targeted at evolving a brand to reach their target audience.
  • Knowledge of the clear-aligner space, dental industry, and interest in this field are highly desirable.
  • Interest and excitement to work at a fast-paced startup, with the potential to grow with the company.
