Responsibilities:

  • Solid understanding of clinical study design, execution, and impact of study drug supply
  • Demonstrated experience with clinical trial process from study start up through completion, including shipping, returns and close-out activities.
  • Familiarity with various clinical trial designs (randomized, double-blind, etc.)
  • Demonstrated experience in inventory management and forecasting drug supply needs (US and/or ex-US)
  • Oversight of inventory levels at depots and clinical sites through the life of a trial; proactively mitigate potential supply issues
  • Experience with IXRS systems and managing the forecasting and planning of drug supply needs; assist with User Acceptance Testing
  • Develop packaging and supply strategies to maximize supply efficiency, minimize waste while identifying risk and develop risk mitigation plans
  • General knowledge of GMP and/or GCP
  • Communicate project requirements to external vendors and review quotes
  • Ability to review MSA and facilitate Legal review
  • Excellent verbal and email communication and presentation skills to internal stakeholders (Core Teams, Management Team, etc.)
  • Strong influencing and collaboration skills; team player attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task and manage complexity
  • This is an onsite position

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in physical science, math, engineering, or pharmacy
  • 10 years of relevant supply chain experience in the pharmaceutical industry including supply planning, CMO oversight, project management, labeling and packaging, and logistics/distribution
  • Experience with biologics (sterile products), oral dosage forms, and product administration
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Project software
