Canopy is a financial data aggregation and insights platform for high net worth individuals and wealth management professionals. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to significantly grow our business. We are looking for someone who is able to source and close deals and has experience selling to high networth individuals and financial advisors. The ideal candidate will be able to network, understand the market context, find solutions to client problems and convince prospects of the value of Canopy. The candidate is comfortable understanding financial advice both at high and granular levels and will be hands-on in their problem-solving approach.
Business Development Manager B2B2C (100%)
As a BD Manager, your day will be composed of three main activities:
1. Scouting for new prospects that could use Canopy (ideally from your personal network, cold reach out, partnerships, etc.). Canopy's clientele are Family Offices, Wealthy Families / Individuals, Wealth Managers, External / Independent Asset Managers, Private Bankers, Trustees, Fiduciaries)
2. Engaging in new conversations with firms that could use Canopy,
3. Managing your opportunities and bring them to a close,
- You will be selling and promoting a range of WM Tech. Services (reporting SW, Backoffice operations lt;BPOgt; such as data aggregation, processing, cleansing) mainly over the phone or face to face, with opportunity to attend conferences and events,
- Be part of and actively influence/shape a fast growing Business Development and very international start-up team,
- Working in a positive sales environment, recognition and benefits for committed individuals,
