Orlando Informer is a theme-park vacation-planning company founded in 2011. Every year, we help millions of people plan a better vacation to Orlando’s biggest tourist destinations with savings, experiences, and advice.
We’re looking to add an additional Videographer/Editor to our team who has a passion for filming and editing fast-paced vlog style videos and short-form content. This videographer/Editor will be responsible for capturing B-Roll from the Central Florida theme parks, while also working alongside content creators to turn around videos in a time-sensitive environment, sometimes on-location. They should be able to make their edits match an existing style and format to create a cohesive experience for the viewer.
Orlando Informer is a small, nimble, and remote-first company, so it’s likely you’ll get experience across many areas of our business.
Requirements
Qualified applicants should be able to demonstrate advanced levels of knowledge regarding Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Parks and Resorts, and/or Walt Disney World Resort, strong cinematography, and video editing capabilities. Experience with mirrorless cameras and photo/video editing programs. In addition, time-management skills are a must; this position comes with a degree of independence, and all applicants should feel comfortable meeting deadlines with little to no direct supervision. You should be local to Central Florida’s theme parks. Minimum two years of professional experience working in the field of media or other applicable segments. A video portfolio is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with Sony cameras and Adobe Premiere Pro. Previous experience in Adobe Photoshop. Photography skills and photo editing in Adobe Lightroom are a plus.
