What you will do:

The E-Commerce Manager maximizes the customer experience on our website. We are looking for an exceptionally organized, data-focused and creative candidate that can work well in a team environment. This role has direct reports that will manage site merchandising and site operations.

The ideal candidate is equal parts technical and creative; someone who loves both sides of the role and enjoys digging into the details of a site and user experience. They care deeply about the customer journey and are passionate about testing and iterating in order to find efficiency gains at every stage of the funnel. But they also have a natural eye for detail and visual aesthetics, with strong competence in copywriting and/or graphic design. Lastly, we are looking for a team player as comfortable doing the detailed work as they are capable of developing long-term strategy, vision and meaningful change.

  • Create and develop the ecommerce strategy and customer experience plan, and build solutions that drive revenue and reinforce our brand promise to our customers
  • Work with your team and marketing to support online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion, and improvements in AOV
  • Relentlessly measure daily, weekly, monthly site KPI targets and optimize ecommerce spends and resources accordingly
  • Set the standard for fast A/B testing, experimentation, iteration, bounce rates to continuously improve user experience efforts and site performance
  • Write and optimize briefs for site creative; direct site merchandiser and web developer

Requirements

A little about you:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Psychology preferred
  • 3+ years’ experience developing, optimizing, managing websites for DTC companies; apparel/fashion industry experience is a plus
  • Experience with e-commerce platforms Shopify, Klaviyo, Amazon, with excellent understanding of online retail and user experience
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Google Sheets and/or Microsoft Excel
  • Must be detail-oriented and possess superior organization skills
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and with a sense of urgency
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and with multiple levels of seniority
  • Ability to empathize with consumer personas different from yourself
  • Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and a technical can-do attitude
