The Harbr Presales Architect is a customer-facing pre-sales role. In this role, you will partner with the Regional Sales and Account Executives to engage with prospects and close new business. You will be responsible for leading early stage business development, customized demonstrations, designing and managing successful proofs-of-concept, and transitioning new customers to the Customer Success team. You will also partner with your Customer Success colleagues to drive expansion and usage of the Harbr platform.
Requirements
- Understand prospects’ business challenges and position the Harbr Data Commerce Platform as a key part of their solution..
- Develop and deliver custom presentations and demonstrations of the Harbr Platform to customers based upon their specific requirements.
- Provide technical leadership for prospects to understand, evaluate, and ultimately adopt the Harbr Data Commerce Platform.
- Work closely with Demand Generation and Sales to develop prospective customers through the sales process
- Collect Voice of Customer to enhance our understanding of product-market fit, evaluate target market segments and influence platform development priorities
- Understand your strengths, use them to help your fellow Presales Architects and drive cross-functional relationships across the company.
- Travel to customers (Subject to the lifting of COVID-related travel restrictions).
About you
- Experienced in a customer-facing technical delivery, pre-sales, or similar role.
- Experienced user of services at one of the major cloud providers (Amazon, Azure, or Google)
- Able to deliver a compelling technical sales presentation.
- Experienced with the execution of proof-of-concept exercises or similar activities, including pilot projects.
- Experienced with one or more of the following technologies: ETL, Data warehousing, Hadoop, Spark, SQL, Python, R and the major cloud platforms
- Familiar with sales methodologies
- Strong communicator with a proven ability to build internal and external relationships
