Sr. Partnerships Manager, Inventory

Job Description
AdTheorent is seeking a Sr. Partnerships Manager to help grow our inventory and supply division. This position will report to the Inventory Partnerships Director and be responsible for owning companywide relationships with our inventory and ad verification partners (including SSPs, and publishers across web, app, CTV, and Digital-Out-Of-Home). We are looking for an expert in programmatic buying and someone familiar with digital ads and creative formats. This role will help drive new inventory integrations, deepen existing inventory partnerships, and support our existing client business across verticals. We are seeking individuals with strong digital acumen, a proven relationship-building skill set, and attention to detail.
Occasional travel to NYC (about once a month) will be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, commercialize, and maintain new inventory products for advertisers to execute. This role will serve as the key liaison for new inventory product types to ensure it’s rolled out successfully across the business
- Develop new publisher partnerships that advance AdTheorent’s inventory capabilities and deepen existing partnerships with key suppliers
- Support day-to-day operations with publishers and SSPs; including contract management, troubleshooting, and evaluating integration upgrades
- Work closely with AdTheorent’s internal media planning team on the creation of custom deals, curation of ad formats, and forecasting to deliver advertiser campaigns
- Work with internal teams responsible for campaign delivery to ensure deals are effectively pushed to the platform, review performance of custom units, deal IDs/PMPs post-launch to provide forward-thinking recommendations
- Key liaison with Product and Software Development teams to troubleshoot connection, delivery, or ad blocking issues with our existing SSPs/exchanges and direct publisher integration.
- Maintain POVs and differentiators for all suppliers, unique ad types, and media types
- Collaborate with Data/Audience and Measurement Partnerships Managers to ensure measurement capabilities are presented as part of the big picture, results-driven solutions that tie into our holistic data and inventory recommendations
Requirements
- 4-6 years experience in the digital advertising industry, prior experience working at a DSP/SSP/Exchange is a plus
- Must have deep knowledge of online advertising dynamics, trends, and technologies, and campaign planning amp; buying - specifically how programmatic inventory is bought and the leading players in the programmatic supply space
- Possess a robust analytical framework and ability to problem solve highly technical issues
- Must have strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel (SQL a plus)
- Ability to work with colleagues and external vendors at all levels; deep relationship-building expertise
- Experience in programmatic execution of CTV campaigns is a plus
- Must be able to see the big picture and be able to rally others behind that picture
- Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Effective time management skills, ability to multitask, attention to detail, proactive prioritization, and delivery of high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience working with some of the following partners preferred: Magnite, AdX, PubMatic, TripleLift, Xandr, OpenX
- BA/BS Degree required
