Job Description

Selectemp is searching for a Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative who is passionate about sales. Specializing in manufacturing and warehousing, we have created a supportive atmosphere where you will engage in friendly competition and be provided the resources to make you successful.

This is a pound the pavement, hunter sales role. Support will be provided by the awesome branch and management team in Bend.

Base salary of $60-$75k+ commission

Day in the Life of a Business Development Manager / Outside Sales Representative:

  • Generate new business and expansion revenue by prospecting via phone, email and in person business appointments
  • Use a consultative sales approach to grow your business
  • Participate in community activities while promoting Selectemp (i.e. Chamber of Commerce, Human Resource Association meetings, Rotary Club, Business After Hours, etc.)
  • Collaborate with management on sales goals, planning, and forecasting
  • Build strong relationships with decision makers using strategic sales strategies
  • Be an active learner on a consistent basis in order to be an expert in our industry and market
  • Achieve weekly metrics for cold calling quotas
  • Negotiate pricing and contracts

Requirements

  • Previous outside B2B sales experience
  • Impeccable interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with marketing strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales objectives
  • An independent go-getter who is not afraid of the word no

  • Valid driver’s license + own vehicle
