Job Description

Reporting to the Create Service Line Director, the Global Talent Acquisition Director, Create will develop, drive and manage a global talent attraction / recruitment strategy for the Create Service Line. This role will be responsible for creating and implementing a best-in-class end to end talent strategy, setting the strategic direction for talent attraction and acquisition. They will lead the development, design and implementation of talent acquisition practices, and procedures to ensure that Create is able to acquire the best talent to meet both short and long term strategic objectives.

The Global Talent Acquisition Director, Create will be collaborating with executive level leaders, Human Resource leaders, internal amp; external recruiters, communications and other key stakeholders. This role will work to build and maintain an environment of equal employment opportunity, diversity, and competitive advantage in support of the company’s diversity and inclusion strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Work with Create SL Director, Solutions Architect/s, and Studio Heads to understand overall service line requirements and convert to a regional talent attraction strategy in conjunction with Regional Leads
  • Monitors and measures the results of the Talent Acquisition Strategy to ensure that it is meeting the organizational imperatives and then prepares and presents regular updates and reports at senior levels of the organization to demonstrate the progress and impacts of the strategy
  • Work closely with Regional TA Leads to plan and build a recruitment strategy in support of recruitment amp; workforce planning for future business growth globally. Acts as a consultant to leadership for recruitment amp; workforce planning in order to create proactive attraction strategies to ensure business needs are met
  • Supports the HR leadership team on strategic initiatives, including providing expert advice around workforce planning and sourcing and recruitment strategies
  • Champions continuous improvement in the talent acquisition strategy for the organization including use of innovative practices and technology enablers to deliver an exceptional experience for all stakeholders
  • Ownership and management of Talent Acquisition of budget for Service Line
  • Lead efforts to facilitate internal movement of talent between studios
  • Develop and lead a global sourcing function for the Create Service Line
  • Identify global activities to promote Create studios e.g. graduate events, conferences, careers events, etc.
  • Identify, implement, and manage technology platforms to improve effectiveness amp; efficiency of the recruitment function
  • Identify Service Line level sourcing options and economies of scale e.g. discounted agency agreements
  • Partners with marketing and communication leads to develop overarching strategies to drive Create’s employment brand across multiple channels to reach more candidates and increase the candidate pipeline
  • Manage, support and develop the Create Talent Acquisition team

Requirements


  • A minimum of 12 years of experience within the Talent Acquisition field
  • At least 5 years of previous leadership experience within a Senior Talent Acquisition role
  • Previous experience recruiting within the Game Development or Creative industries would be highly preferred
  • Proven ability to lead and motivate a multi-location team and create an engaging, performance focused working environment.
  • Proven people leadership skill and ability, with demonstrated ability to develop positive relationships with all levels of management and staff
  • Ideally, experience working within the Talent Acquisition industry internationally i.e. running international teams and/or working in international locations
  • Previous experience identifying, selecting and implementing talent acquisition technology and systems
  • Proven experience recruiting Executive level talent
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal communication, and presentation skills.
  • A strong understanding of human resources programs, policies and practices; specifically, those related to recruitment, employment equity and workplace diversity
  • Bachelor’s degree and post-graduate education, with a preferred focus on Human Resources, or equivalent work experience
