Kids Science Labs, the leader in hands-on science education, is hiring for our summer camps. We are looking for talented team members to join us as we inspire the next generation of creative thinkers and leaders. We are proud that over 150 fellows have graduated from our highly-selective leadership program and build lifelong relationships.
If you are a college student or teacher, we encourage you to apply to our summer internship. Our program provides a challenging and rewarding experience that prepares candidates for successful careers as innovators, teachers, scientists and artists. We provide the training and tools that enable you to become a better innovator, problem solver, and leader, all while laughing, engaging, and having fun each and everyday with students.
Our teaching positions run from 8-12 weeks in the summer to provide an immersive experience and accommodate different college schedules. Summer team members teaching 10 weeks are eligible for a $500 bonus.
We offer a summer opportunity for Undergraduates as well as Graduate and Doctoral Student Teachers, who are looking to improve their level of engagement with kids. The desire to be a part of our plan to change kids’ lives forever through Kids Science Labs is a must. This position is highly selective with participants from schools around the country, including students with a broad set of majors (education science, art, psychology, theatre, engineering) that all have one thing in common, they want to help kids change the world and are willing to engage them and help them maintain and grow their curiosity, problem solving, and innovative design.

Requirements
ROLE OF A TEACHER AT KSL
Our team members are critical to our success. We enable and inspire thousands of the next generation of leaders everyday through our passionate work. Therefore, our team members are required to be curious and adaptive and are part of a high performing KSL teaching team that engages kids every day. You will engage students in a program that includes a hands-on discovery science class, as well as two activities in the afternoon in art, critical thinking, problem solving, lego design, and general science.
Make no mistake, although we laugh and have fun, the work is both challenging and rewarding. It also involves you spending time in a progressive classroom environment that is all about building fundamental skills in kids that lead to their (and your own) long-term outperformance.

Requirements

- Ability to manage a classroom
- BS/BA degree completed or in progress (preferably in art, science, communication, early childhood education, theatre or psychology)
