Clean Team associates work for the Downtown Oregon City Association. They help to support the beautification of the downtown area by providing cleaning and maintenance services.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cleaning amp; Maintenance Clean Team
- Regular cleaning and debris pick-up in public parking lots, sidewalks, amp; alleys.
- Snow removal.
- Infrastructure maintenance including but not limited to: bicycle racks, pavers, newspaper boxes, trash cans, benches, etc.
- Graffiti removal.
- Power washing.
- Window washing.
Downtown Ambassador
- Communicating with business owners and downtown patrons.
- Report public disturbances to applicable authorities.
- Report infrastructure issues to the city's Public Works Department or private business owners.
Event amp; Seasonal Setup
- Tree lighting and holiday décor installation, removal, and maintenance.
- Assistance with setup and breakdown for events.
- Tree amp; hedge trimming, weeding, and watering.
- Clean up and possible pressure washing of sidewalks after events.
Requirements
Essential Physical and Time Requirements
- This job requires physical ability including heavy lifting, climbing ladders, and working with a variety of maintenance tools in a variety of outdoor conditions.
- Ability to work occasional events that may not fall within normal weekly hours.
- 20 hours per week
- Normal schedule is mornings Monday through Friday, 9am-1pm but can be flexible
