SCADA Developer

Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking SCADA Developer for its San Antonio office. As a SCADA Developer, you will help trouble shoot, maintain, administer, and improve Streamline’s SCADA infrastructure. You will contribute to the Streamline vision by lowering operational costs by focusing on process automation, control, and data analytic initiatives.

• Supporting development of software standards for modular, scalable, and reusable solutions
• Maintains workflow and programming documentation for all work by writing and updating procedures

Requirements

Preferred:

• 2-5 years of experience with SCADA software such as Ignition and/or Ignition Certifications (IU, Core, Gold)
• Experience with HTML and CSS

Required:

You must be able to contribute almost immediately in at least one of the following categories and demonstrate the ability to learn new languages/frameworks to backfill the other skills:

• Experience with Python
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Experience with Java
• Experience with Front-end web development
• Experience with SQL databases (not administration, but putting and getting data)
• Experience with various types of remote devices such as Allen Bradley PLCs
• Knowledge of SCADA systems and principles of databases and historians.
• Knowledgeable in computer networking architectures, topologies, and hardware.

Education:

• University degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
