Product Development Associate

Responsibilities

• Perform competitive analysis and research current trends and opportunities
• Ensure project status and tracking files are kept up to date, tracking submissions, feedback and key project information
• Assist with preparing meeting agendas, keeping meeting minutes and issuing recaps
• Follow up with external vendors to keep on track of the critical pathway
• Track and manage product testing process and needs, including but not limited to stability, safety, analytical, and efficacy testing
• Effectively and accurately maintain product documentation
• Act as inter-departmental liaison to facilitate product development process
• Perform other assigned projects and functions as directed by management

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in beauty product development
• Passion for the creative and technical intricacies of product development
• Must be a reliable team player with strong written and verbal communications skills and a professional demeanor
• Collaborative mindset with an excellent work ethic and must be organized, detail oriented, resourceful, and flexible in an ever-changing environment
• Adept at prioritizing and juggling multiple projects and competing priorities to meet tight deadlines without losing sight of consumer and market needs
• Proactive approach while showing initiative to drive results and solve problems
• Excellent computer skills, proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint
