• This role would be responsible for maintenance, additions to the website, and keeping the website up to date.
• Conceptualizing creative ideas for an internal CDH team website with the CDH Strategic Operations team.
• Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with CDH branding.
• Designing sample pages including colors and fonts.
• Establishing website design guidelines, standards, and best practices.
• Testing and improving the design of the website.
• Incorporating functionalities and features into websites.
• Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
• Work with the CDH Strategic Operations team to identify prioritized needs and ensure alignment to the CDH infrastructure strategy.

Requirements

• Required skills: SharePoint, HTML coding for emails and Graphic design
• Ability to create production-quality CSS, HTML and JavaScript for use in content management systems, web applications and more
• Knowledge of web standards, accessibility, CSS-driven layouts and manipulating the DOM
  Implementation of browser-independent designs and ability to address cross-browser issues on all platforms
• Design experience with a good eye for aesthetics and detail; can convert design documents and specifications into functional, standards-compliant web sites
• Responsible for creating the look, layout, and features of a website in predicable and dependable patterns leveraging that support team self-service, findability, and easily accessible information.
• Experience building and working with design systems
• Familiarity and proficiency with design software such as Sketch, Adobe XD, Figma, Contributor and Photoshop
• Ability to build consensus among technology, quality and business groups and justify design decisions
• Strong knowledge of web standards and accessibility, interaction design, and user-centered design principles
• Ability to support seamless connectivity and links to SharePoint, WordPress, or other tools that store artifacts, including ease of updating
• Saleforce, Eloqua, Poppulo or Constant Contact experience is required.
• 3-4 years of equivalent professional experience designing and developing front-end web applications
• Excellent visual design skills
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite - Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Contribute, and other visual design tools
• Experience working in an Agile development environment
• Experience working with Digital Design Languages and creating designs that comply with broader visual strategy and direction
• Experience with modern visual web and application design tools like Sketch/Figma/Adobe XD
• Understanding of JavaScript and jQuery
• Strong knowledge of web standards and accessibility (W3C and s508), interaction design and user-centered design principles
• Demonstrated ability to take a project from concept to launch
• Experience with Vue/React/Angular and PHP/WordPress
• Ability to adjust graphics and create / optimize graphic assets to complete designs
• Ability to work with source / version control software
• Good understanding of content management systems
• Good understanding of search engine optimization principles

Education: Bachelor's preferred in computer technology, website design, or graphic design
