Job Description

APM Steam is a fast-growing energy efficiency company focused on steam systems. We are investing heavily on modernizing ourselves with the goal of transforming the industry and providing the best service to our customers nationwide.

We are hiring a Logistics amp; Procurement Analyst to execute the daily operations of the Logistics amp; Procurement team while supporting the organization with data needs. The Logistics amp; Procurement Analyst is responsible for ordering parts and materials for projects with our customers in the healthcare, education, biotech, and manufacturing industries. In addition, this person will prepare the data required for projects while working to improve the systems and processes we have in place.

  • Order and purchase parts and materials for repair and installation projects that meet quality and quantity expectations
  • Generate purchase orders and track inventory arrival in Salesforce
  • Address order inquiries from other departments
  • Establish subcontracting pricing and collect establishing paperwork; implement into quoting system
  • Prepare data for steam trap surveys and installations
  • Monitor productivity of ongoing projects with customers
  • Assess remainder of scope on incomplete projects with submitted data
  • Create and maintain logistics and procurement accrual sheets
  • Work as a liaison between Logistics amp; Procurement and Business Operations for the purpose of planning and generating tools to improve efficiency and visibility; create and maintain Salesforce reports and dashboards

Requirements

  • Experience in purchasing, supply chain, logistics, or business management
  • Experience with Salesforce or another CRM and QuickBooks or another accounting software
  • Advanced Excel and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with different departments
