The Position requires an experienced, collaborative, and influential leader who can work effectively across diverse engineering and manufacturing environment. The Human Resource Manager will partner closely with the HR Generalists to advance HR strategies and solutions designed to attract, develop, motivate, and retain employees.

Requirements

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Serve as an onsite HR partner focusing on execution of critical processes, including total rewards, performance management, talent development and employee relations
• Address and investigate employee relations issues, leveraging knowledge of employment laws and company policies and procedures
• Build credible relationships with leaders through trust, collaboration, effective communication, and coaching
• Apply sound judgment to identify issues and prescribe HR solutions in ambiguous situations with confidence
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders and employees
• Consistent application of HR policies to mitigate risk and ensure equitable solutions
• Address and investigate employee relations issues, leveraging knowledge of employment laws and company policies and procedures
• Support HRIS system administration. Handle generation and processing of job and personal changes. Create queries and ad hoc reports to provide data for a variety of audits, and related HR projects and activities

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS:

• Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of progressive Human Resource experience

• Strong understanding of compensation, benefits administration, payroll, FMLA, LOA, and other key HR functions
• Proven experience with California employment laws and current legislation
• PHR (SHRM-CP) or SPHR (SHRM-SCP) certification preferred
• Experience in the aerospace/defense industry preferred
