Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior RF (Mixed Signal) Module Engineer who wants to join a fast paced and dynamic company, recognized by the Department of Defense, Intelligence Community, and Military Branches, for contributions in development of cyber-electronics.

In this role you will be involved in all stages between post design-development, manufacturing, and production to ensure that the relevant products are consistently reproducible, cost-effective, and delivered on-time within budget. The selected candidate will characterize, analyze, and integrate specialized RF/Analog/Digital modules in conjunction with their ensuing dynamic software/firmware builds for various customer and programmatic needs. You will be responsible for helping with the development of module specifications and writing test procedures in order to meet qualification standards for the validation of said production units.

Requirements

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

  • Experience with mixed signal high frequency PCB’s, components, modules, systems, and RF equipment up-to 26.5 GHz and above.
  • Experience with coordinating, monitoring, and mentoring junior staff to sufficiently to test and characterize manufactured production modules.
  • Experience with CAD/CAE tools for schematic capture and PCB layout.
  • Experience with transceiver implementation, frequency conversion, frequency synthesizers, and PLLs.
  • Experience with broadband (gt; 100 MHz BW) RF module and sub-system verifications.
  • Experience developing full cascade analysis to determine system performance.
  • Knowledge with updating specific BOM’s (Including Software and Firmware updates), ICD’s and other appropriate documentation as needed.
  • Experience at the RF Board, Module, and System level.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work within design and manufacturing teams to accomplish specific manufacturing and production goals.


These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

  • Current/active security clearance.
  • Familiarity with OrCAD and Allegro flow.
  • Experience using EM field simulation and analysis software such as CST Studio.


What You’ll Get to Do:

  • Test, qualify and verify that module design(s) meet verification, performance, and other required specifications.
  • Prepare detailed module and board level Qualification and Acceptance Test procedures such that initial designs in conjunction with productionized units can be characterized.
  • Serve as the liaison interfacing with the development, manufacturing, and production departments to synergistically meld together team efforts to produce quality modularized products.
  • Produce all required design documentation to ensure manufacturability and ongoing technical support
  • Work with system integrator(s) to develop solutions that meet module and system requirements that will result in a high-quality product.
  • Self-starter, with the ability to work within design and manufacturing teams to accomplish specific manufacturing and production goals.


Education

  • BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience.
