Requirements
Hudson Medical + Wellness is currently seeking a passionate and tenacious Part-Time Web Developer to join the Marketing Team. S/He will work closely with the designer and Marketing to build and maintain accessible and high quality websites for Hudson Medical Group. Responsibilities may include custom theme or custom plugin development on WordPress, one-off front-end code development, third-party software integrations, HTML email templates, and more. Experience with simple animations and/or visual design is a big plus.
Responsibilities
- Be responsible for designing, coding and continuously optimizing Hudson websites
- Provide creative strategy around email layout/design
- Maintain and scale existing websites, create new websites, as needed, and support enterprise-level digital marketing initiatives
- Translate UI/UX wireframes from designer to live staging environments
- Communicate regularly with team members on project developments and deliverables, ensuring adherence to initiative goals, processes, requirements and timeline
- Perform comprehensive troubleshooting / enhancements (QA) of various websites/projects to resolve outstanding issues / bugs and ensure cross-browser compatibility across all screen sizes
- Stay current with industry trends, technologies and standards, and recommend and apply new technologies as necessary
Desired Skills amp; Experience
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in graphic/visual design
- 2-4 years design / Web development experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong WordPress knowledge
- Ability to install and maintain of WordPress templates, plugins, webpages, forms, and other related components
- Experience with MailChimp is a plus
- Expertise in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP
- Ability to design and bring new ideas
- Strong organization and time management skills
