Requirements
Hudson Medical + Wellness is currently seeking a passionate and tenacious Part-Time Content Writer to join the Marketing Team. S/He will be responsible for producing engaging content for medical providers and patients. S/He will produce clear, compelling copy for customers, while also understanding the strategy and concept behind their work. They collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand customer/business objectives in an effort to create innovative copy ideas that support business needs. They will collaborate with the Marketing team to produce digital, print and web-based materials including, but not limited to, written content for website, emails, social media, online advertising campaigns and printed materials. The Content Writer will help Hudson build their vision into an elevated brand that transforms the health and wellness industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit well-written professional-facing and consumer-facing content for a variety of marketing materials, including but not limited to print materials, social media posts, website content, blog posts, thought leadership articles, partnership articles, and white papers.
- Edit existing copy when needed and ensure readability, accuracy, and adherence to best practices
- Write original keyword-rich content for the healthcare sector, following best content and SEO practices.
- Ensure the accuracy of all information, data, and references for the documents produced.
- Brainstorm, research, and contribute ideas for content that is of interest to the target audience.
- Be an active member of the marketing team.
Desired Skills amp; Experience
- Bachelor's degree in communications, English, journalism, or marketing with 2+ years of experience in healthcare, biotech, or science-based industries
- 2-4 years writing and editing experience
- High attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in designing and developing customer-oriented content with impactful narratives
- Demonstrated experience in writing science-based, research-driven health content
- Proficiency in other languages (Chinese, Spanish, or Vietnamese) is a plus
