Senior Software QA Engineer
Melville, NY
Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.
This is a 6 Month Contract - NO C2C
Senior Quality Assurance on the Account Payable (AP) solution project. This is an automated workflow project for processing and verifying invoices using OCR for data extraction. This is an existing on premise version that will need to be tested in the second half of 2022. Also, this QA engineer will work with and help in monitor quality of work of off shore outsourcing resources.
Minimum qualifications:
5+ years of experience in QA/Test Engineering
BS in Computer Science or related field
Experience testing cloud applications (functional and non-functional testing)
Experience testing enterprise level web services/application and mobile applications (iOS/Android)
Experience with SQL
Experience creating QA Test Strategy and Test Matrix documents
Experience and proficiency with Windows platform and Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work independently and with a team, effectively managing your time to meet product delivery and quality objectives
Experience in working with offshore outsourcing teams
Ability to communicate effectively with QA, development and PM team members (oral, written)
Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making abilities
Excellent attention to details
Good interpersonal skills: teamwork, respect, tact and discretion
Demonstrate a positive attitude, even under pressure
Minimum typing speed: 40 words per minute
Experience with network trouble-shooting and VPN access
Preferred qualifications:
Experience with Oracle SOA technology
Experience with soapUI
Experience with OCR and document imaging technology
Experience with Windows Professional 7+ and Windows Server 2008+ (including administration tools)
Experience with Selenium, Appium, TestNG, Eclipse
Experience with Therefore and JD Edwards
This position offers a hybrid work schedule requiring you to be in the office Monday and Wednesday with an option to work from home the remainder of the week (unless a specific business need arises requiring in office attendance on other days). Note that work schedules and office reporting requirements may change from time to time based on business needs.
