The Bay Area Youth Agency Consortium (BAYAC) AmeriCorps, a Bay Area Community Resources program, is a consortium of 30+ community-based agencies that deliver youth development, tutoring, after-school enrichment activities, college readiness, gardening, and health education services to youth throughout the Bay Area. We are looking for someone who is committed to youth development and can effectively work on a team, and has a good sense of humor. This is a hybrid role.

Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation for site visits
- 3+ years of experience working directly with youth, community-based programs, or coordinating volunteers
- Strong facilitation skills and ability to develop and implement training sessions
- Experience with community outreach, recruitment, and selection
Preferred:
- Experience working in a multicultural, multi-generational environment
- Excellent case management, mentoring, coaching, and group management skills
- Strong understanding/knowledge of Bay Area communities, schools, organizations, and youth
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, select, place, and retain AmeriCorps members at partner placement sites
- Build and maintain collaborative relationships between the program, partnering agencies, community-based organizations, and community members
- Plan and facilitate bi-monthly 8-hour team training days, community-based service projects, leadership development workshops, and celebrations (in-person and virtual platforms)
- Visit and conduct observations at placement sites in order to provide coaching to the AmeriCorps Members, provide feedback to the Program Director for ongoing program improvement, and build relationships with the partner agencies
- Work with Program Director to ensure timely submission of documentation required by grant and program (time cards, files, data collection, and evaluation)
- Other duties as assigned
