The Employee Experience team is responsible for everything that drives just that - our employee experience, our employer brand, culture, internal communications, our HR infrastructure, plus our physical spaces. The Role

As part of the global People Team, this exciting newly created role can make a mark on the future success of GBG. We're looking for someone with an in-depth understanding of People practices across the Americas to lead HR operations, both strategic and tactical, working with individuals across the US and Mexico. You will be tasked to improve management capabilities and work with leadership to coach and challenge their abilities.

What you will do

You will:

  • Report to the Director of People and Culture, Americas, and supported by direction from the global People leadership team and regional business leaders, deliver against regional priorities and proactive advisory support and coaching to the business in areas such as Workforce Planning, Organization Design, Change Management, Talent Attraction, and Onboarding, Talent Management, integration of Mamp;A activities, Employee Relations, Performance Management, and Rewards planning
  • Work with People Business Partners to deliver best-in-class support to team members and managers, ensuring that GBG tools, skills, and knowledge are applied consistently
  • Support the recruitment and onboarding of our expanding team, through a local Recruiter
  • Recommend improvements to all operational aspects of the team, simplifying the process and reducing administration
  • Provide project-based support to the People team to assist in the development and local rollout of initiatives spanning areas highlighted above
  • Ensure local compliance with local legislative requirements and recommend best practice improvements where necessary (in conjunction with external Counsel)
  • Provide an accurate and efficient local People admin service to the local management team, collaborating with global peers to ensure consistency

Requirements

  • Relevant experience with knowledge in disciplines such as improving manager capability, change management, rewards and benefits, global mobility, and employee relations.
  • Depth or knowledge and passion for at least one of the above specialist areas, and significant experience working across the United States
  • Previous experience coaching and advising managers in a matrix environment
  • Professional HR qualification (SHRM or equivalent) is a plus
  • Exposure to a range of companies, across international markets
  • Deep understanding of US Human Resource best practices
  • Strong administrative skills and experience
  • Skills and knowledge across the full range of Microsoft tools, plus bespoke databases.
  • Experience in working with automated processes including, HRIS, Learning Management, and e-Benefit platforms
