Job Description
The Program/Project Manager is responsible for overall productivity and profitability of the contract. This position enforces and monitors compliance of all policies to ensure quality performance and safety of entire staff. The position is responsible for oversight of all employees and overseeing the annual contact budget. This position is responsible for providing ongoing project analysis, communicating project status to corporate management, and identifying and resolving project issues and constraints. In addition, position will manage project resources, progress, budgets, safety records, procurement goals, client relations, and schedules.
Specific responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the smooth operation of all day-to-day activities.
- Interact with the customer and business partners.
- Confer with Human Resources regarding new hires, and ongoing personnel matters and questions.
- Supervise, train, coach, recognize, evaluate employees.
- Responsible for maintaining a system or process to track scheduled hours for each staff.
- Lead the planning and implementation of overall project and/or program.
- Facilitate the project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Plan and schedule project/program timelines and deliverables.
- Participate in contract proposals.
Requirements
- 4-year college degree.
- 2+ years of project/program management.
- Experience with federal government contracting is preferred.
- Active Secret Clearance.
- PMP certificate highly desirable.
