Toolbox No. 9 is currently seeking a User Experience Strategist

Primary Job Duties

• To design highly compelling UX/UI design, information architecture, and interaction wireframing for a variety client projects focusing on web and mobile applications.
• To create User Experience strategy for Toolbox's clients and advocate user-centered design principles.
• To solve complex User Interface challenges with collaborative creative brainstorming and workshops.

This role will primarily:

• Lead User Experience Discovery Workshops and Client Sessions.
• Concept, Wireframe, and Design User Experiences.
• Design for Web and Mobile apps.

• Work Directly with Toolbox and the client development Team to build your creative vision.

Requirements

The ideal candidate possesses:

• 2+ years professional experience with fundamental user-centered, usability, and interaction design principles.

• Advanced ability to conceive solutions through user flows and storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes.

• Degree in HCI, Graphic Design, Computational Media, or other related field.

• Ability to articulate creative interactive solutions to clients and stakeholders.

• Solid visual design understanding with an awareness of the impact of typography, layout, and composition, color theory, grid and use of photography and illustration.

• Advanced concepting skills and original thinking.

• Advanced proficiency in industry tools, such as Adobe XD, Figma and/or Sketch.

• A professional and personal portfolio of delightful and useful user experience solutions.

• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
