Role Summary:
We are seeking a Solution Architect to take responsibility for liaising directly with customers and their teams in order to understand their enterprise architecture and help their teams successfully integrate ZeroLight technology into their organisation such that it delivers on their business goals.
The successful candidate will have experience working with enterprise architects to understand their business vision, as well as a hands-on approach to technical detail to surface key points to relevant business stakeholders. They should be comfortable presenting complex ideas and challenges to an audience of varied disciplines in a manner that is easily understood and digested.
This role will be a hybrid of remote working and on-site customer collaboration in the bay area.
Requirements
The Role
- Work with executives and senior stakeholders in complex multi-vendor workshops to identify challenges, propose, agree and record solutions.
- Able to re-articulate agreed plans to both ZeroLight and wider customer audiences effectively.
- Work with the cross-functional, multi-vendor teams to deliver on agreed solutions.
- Understand ZeroLight products and API’s with sufficient technical depth to be able to answer day-to-day questions of clients who are using and integrating those services.
- Work with complex existing customer architecture and be able to consult on IT industry best practice and recommend 3rd party products as well as ZeroLight products to augment that architecture.
- Take responsibility for customers solutions, assisting the technical teams across all organisations involved with complex activities relating to architecture, systems development and systems integration.
- Promote the use of appropriate delivery frameworks, methodologies, processes, and tools.
- Actively participate in the management and monitoring of business-critical client and third-party relationships during the customer journey through the ZeroLight value stream.
- When a customers needs are likely to create a resource impact on ZeroLight, keep senior management at ZeroLight apprised so they can make well-informed .resource management decisions.
The Person
- Over 10 years’ experience working within the software industry that must have included some time in direct code-authoring roles.
- More than 5 years’ experience within a client-facing and development architecture role.
- Demonstrable architectural experience with international enterprise sized clients in the CPQ and/or PLM domains, ideally in automotive.
- The ability to elicit, define and agree client business objectives.
- Proven ability to build and maintain long term stakeholder support.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Extensive diverse team collaboration skills e.g. business, commercial, financial, and technical.
