Job Description
Do you want to make a long-term difference in the lives of students? Do you want to help individuals achieve success and independence? If so, a Pre-Employment Transition Skills (Pre-ETS) Instructor may be the perfect job for you.
As a Pre-ETS instructor, you will facilitate job-readiness instruction to students between the ages of 16 and 21 by focusing on the five components of WIOA:
- Job Exploration Counseling
- WorkBased Learning Experiences (WBLE)
- Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities
- Workplace Readiness Training
- Training on Self-Advocacy
You will also
- Prepare students for satisfying careers in a variety of fields by following TEEM's Training program
- Assist with job placement and job development
- Engage students in meaningful and positive ways
- Prepare summary and progress reports for TEEM admin
The hired candidate will work 2 or 3 days per week. The candidate will work in both their home office delivering virtual instruction and completing required paperwork, and in the school setting providing direct instruction to students.
Compensation for this position is based on a daily rate that increases based on the number of participants served.
You will work with a dedicated team of individuals who are committed to making a difference in the lives of the students we serve.
