ORGANIZATION OVERVIEW

Founded in 2004, Brilliant Corners provides innovative housing and housing-related services to those transitioning from or at risk of homelessness or institutionalization. We develop, own, and manage multi-family supportive housing and licensed residential care homes. Additionally, we implement a broad array of scattered-site, one-on-one supportive housing, and clinical case management programs through partnerships with developmental services, homeless services, veteran services, and health care sectors.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Associate Director of Product Development is responsible for leading the Data and Tech Product Development (ProDev) team in the successful development and management of Brilliant Corner’s custom Salesforce instance and integrations with other systems. They will lead strategic planning for the ProDev team, including setting business goals, developing and refining product roadmaps, and working with key stakeholders to identify and prioritize product needs. The Associate Director will collaborate closely with leaders throughout the organization to better understand business partner needs and ensure successful product results. They will also manage the staff on their team, providing coaching, input and feedback, and career growth support. To be successful in this position, candidates will bring strong product management experience, meticulous organization and attention to detail, polished, proactive, and persuasive communication skills, and a supportive leadership style. Preferred candidates will be entrepreneurial, self-starters who problem solve with creativity and curiosity.


Location: California (prefer Los Angeles or San Francisco Area), position is primarily remote with occasional in-office requirements

Pay Range : 100-115k yearly/exempt

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and support the on-going professional development of a team of project managers, product managers, and system administrators.
  • Oversee development and management of Product Lines, primarily in SFDC, some or all of which may be high visibility within and outside of the organization.
  • Create and maintain clear product management tools and resources.
  • Engage in strategic planning for the department, with a focus on long term goals and direction for the Product Development business unit.
  • Develop outcomes and outputs for unit work initiatives and track progress against performance metrics.
  • Support negotiation of project scope, timeline, and prioritization with internal stakeholders across departments
  • Collaborate with business units to understand processes and generate Product Vision and Roadmaps that align with business needs.
  • Contribute to design and periodic updates of strategic workplan in coordination with Data and Tech Director and other department leaders.
  • Build buy-in and commitment of resources from organization leadership and stakeholders for current initiatives.
  • Establish consistent and comprehensive communication with stakeholders to ensure shared understanding of initiatives.
  • Spearhead operational process and change management related to the implementation of department initiatives.
  • Develop and manage product release schedule for new deployments.
  • Procure, oversee, and coordinate the work of contracted professional services providers, such as application developers and SaaS providers.
