Thordrive is a rapidly growing company in the field of robotics and artificial intelligence that is transforming the future of autonomous technology while focusing on safety and reliability. We are a diverse group of innovative and motivated individuals that are focused on developing our autonomous technology to be applied in the aviation industry.
You will be a part of software development team and work on multiple projects that are required from various stages of ThorDrive product development. It will include autonomy application, robotics software system, simulation development, robotics data infrastructure, and fleet operation tools, which will be by mostly C++ and python using ROS. You will need to coherently communicate requirements between multiple teams and regularly update project timelines for your work. You will have many chances to learn throughout autonomous vehicle development, and get your hands on actual development and testing.Responsibilities
- Develop software applications that are needed from various stages of ThorDrive product (e.g. autonomy application, robotics software system, simulation development, robotics data infrastructure, fleet operation tools)
- Work cross functionally with various teams and provide technical supports
- Learn and understand ThorDrive autonomy system (HW/SW)
Requirements
- Solid coding skills (e.g. C++, python)
- Experience on building software application, especially in Linux environment
- Algorithms and data structure
- Eager to learn new technology
- Team player
Preferred Experience
- ROS
- Real-world autonomous robot
- Full-stack web application development
- AWS, Azure or any cloud services
