Job Description
Job Summary:
Streamline Innovations, Inc. is seeking a Control Room Operator for its San Antonio area operational plant. The control Room Operator would manage, inspect, and test all amine treating gas plant instrumentation, equipment, and chemicals.
Job Duties:
- Provide constant monitoring of control panels and Key Performance Indicators as necessary to maintain process health and operating efficiency given the potential for variable throughput.
- Supervises and maintains the accuracy of process control indicators
- Manages the completion of field tests to ensure the correct calibration of the process and process control equipment and records data from equipment readings
- Promotes high attention to quality control.
- Handles Routine process troubleshooting and maintenance
- Demonstrates working knowledge of oil and gas plant Operations
- Operates within regulations of Process Safety Management (PSM) and environment permit requirements
- Communicates in a prompt and effective manner
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school degree/ GED or better required
- US work authorization without sponsorship required
- Critical thinking capabilities
- Some gas treating experience
- Some experience in experience process controls, troubleshooting instrumentation and electrical issues, and/or PLC programming
- Some lab experience and analytical chemistry
- Ability to pass physical, drug, driving, and background check required
- Ability to physically push pull and lift 50lbs or more required
- Five plus years of experience in amine treating gas plant operations required
- Five plus years of experience in heat transfer, fluid flow, solids removal, separations, acid bases, stoichiometry, redox reactions required
- Two plus years of experience in process control automation
- Two plus years of experience in lab testing, inspection, evaluation of chemistry health required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Five plus years of experience in amine treating gas plant operations required
- Five plus years of experience in heat transfer, fluid flow, solids removal, separations, acid bases, stoichiometry, redox reactions required
- Two plus years of experience in process control automation
- Two plus years of experience in lab testing, inspection, evaluation of chemistry health required
