We are committed to assisting schools in the recruitment of high-quality educators on a permanent or substitute basis. We are the exclusive substitute provider for STEM Preparatory Academy. We are seeking experienced, reliable substitute teachers, to join our team of educators to serve High School and Middle School student scholars.

Job Duties:

Guest Substitute Teacher - Part-timer

Under the supervision of the principles and lead teachers.

• Support student learning:
  • Actively engage students in completing required assignments
  • Supervise classroom activities
• Take attendance and collect homework
• Take notes of student behaviors and academic progress and share them with the teacher
• Supervise breakfast and lunch activities
• Monitors pick up and drop off and other duties as assigned
• Direct questions to school leaders if they arise.
• Mandated Report: Report any signs of bullying, abuse, or assaults to leadership immediately.

Requirements

Requirements and Qualifications:

• Work up to 40 hours
• Minimum BA/BS Degree (required)
• Minimum 2 years of classroom teaching/tutoring experience within the last 3 years
• Detail-orientated and able to follow written and/or oral instructions
• Able to communicate effectively with other personnel and faculty
• Able to cultivate relationships with pupils in a brief time
• Confidence and capability in giving instruction in the absence of the regular teacher
• Willing and able to work standing for most of the day with few breaks to sit
• Candidates must be able to work at least three (3) days a week from 7:30-3:30 local time.

Compensation: Payday is (2x) twice a month on the 1st and 15th.

• $903.00 twice a month (If you sub 3 days a week)
• $1,204.00 twice a month (if you sub 4 days a week)
• $1,505.00 twice a month (if you sub 5 days a week)
