Fund Team reporting to Fund Principal

You are a relationship builder with a critical eye and a strong sense of urgency. You have demonstrated success in delivering quality programming while remaining adaptable, and are driven by data-backed insights. As an Investor Relations Manager, you will learn the ins and outs of the most active venture capital investment fund in the Southwest that helped build one of the most vibrant startup communities in the world. You will work closely with Capital Factory’s tenured fund team to cultivate an exceptional experience for our Limited Partners. Through thoughtful communication, curated events/experiences, and insightful analytics you will build relationships with the most prominent group of LPs in Texas.

Requirements

What you will do

• Build an engaging experience for our Limited Partners across all interaction points, including weekly, monthly, and annual LP events, coinvestment opportunities, fund performance updates amp; monthly webinars, and curated outreach/communication updates
• Champion Capital Factory’s CRM to best leverage our portfolio data and make key recommendations/actionable insights to the executive team.
• Conduct market analysis to identify current market opportunities and updates to Capital Factory’s playbooks.
• Establish, drive and iterate on the organizational management of fund activities including launching new funds, tracking fund performance, and the investor due diligence process.
• Collaborate with the cross-functional team to craft compelling investor updates, pulling from both quantitative amp; qualitative data.

You'll know you're successful if.

• Our investor database (CRM) is used daily by members of the Fund Team.
• Investors reach out to you directly, because they know that you will have the answer before anyone else. All LP inquiries are responded to within 48 hours.
• There is a measurable return on LP events you organize, they are well attended, and flawlessly executed.
• We can attribute 20 qualified investor leads each month directly to your efforts.
• You speak confidently amp; fluently about our portfolio and are able to make strategic recommendations to the fund team.
• You establish a strategy to increase investor retention and reduce churn through communication touchpoints.
• You distribute accurate, thoughtful, and timely investor reporting, always.

About you

• You are a clear and engaging copywriter with three years of experience in email marketing, social media campaigns, or other outbound communications.
• You have experience running events online on Zoom with more than 100 attendees.
• You love organizing dinners and events.
• You are highly dependable - you do what you say you are going to do by the deadline set.
• You check your email in the evenings and are available to work during evening events and over the weekends when there is a tight deadline. You do what it takes to get the job done.
• You are available to travel overnight up to once per week.
• You plan to stay in Texas and commit to this team for 2 years.

• We are available to work during SXSW (Spring Break), DREAMCON (2 week long staff summits twice a year), and Startup Week.
• We get to Inbox Zero every day.
