Position:
As Senior Project amp; Product Manager you will own the delivery process for dcSpark products. You must have strong project management skills, the ability to lead teams, and deliver projects on time and within budget. You should have significant experience leading IT development projects. This is a varied role that requires hands-on management, report collation, and executive-status reporting, which will entail resolving issues and taking action across all levels of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Review project plans to ensure feasibility, including realistic timelines and budgets
- Monitor project status and manage project scope to ensure goals are met
- Manage technical staff members, consultants, and contractors
- Coordinate with other internal departments such as accounting or human resources as needed to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and effectively
- Review technical documentation to ensure that it is accurate and complete
- Lead meetings with stakeholders to discuss project goals, progress, and challenges
- Supervise the work of engineers, developers, or other technical staff members who are responsible for building dcSpark products
- Collaborate with the co-founders and technology leadership to document and manage scope, effort, and schedule
- Take ownership of critical incidents, coordinate with resolution parties, and establish effective communication between stakeholders for post-incident reviews
- Ensure that systems, procedures, and methodologies are in place to support outstanding service delivery
- Track KPIs and present reports defining products’ progress
- Create product strategy documents that describe business cases, high-level use cases, technical requirements, revenue, and ROI
- Coordinate with technology leaders to translate product strategy into detailed requirements for prototype construction and final product development
- Assess current competitor offerings, seeking opportunities for differentiation
Requirements
- Blockchain development experience is a plus
- Understanding of blockchain functionality at the level necessary to communicate with developers
- Qualification in product management or equivalent
- Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
- Knowledge of project management techniques and tools
- Direct work experience in project management role
- Proven experience in people management
- Proven experience in strategic planning
- Proficient in project management software
- Strong experience in delivering software projects
- Knowledge and understanding of the software development life cycle
