Job Description

As a Pre-ETS instructor, you will facilitate job-readiness instruction to students between the ages of 16 and 21 by focusing on the five components of WIOA:
- Job Exploration Counseling
- Work-Based Learning Experiences (WBLE)
- Counseling on Post-Secondary Opportunities
- Workplace Readiness Training
- Training on Self-Advocacy
You will also
- Prepare students for satisfying careers in a variety of fields by following TEEM's Training program
- Assist with job placement and job development
- Engage students in meaningful and positive ways
- Prepare summary and progress reports for TEEM admin
The hired candidate will work 2 or 3 days per week. The candidate will work in both their home office delivering virtual instruction and completing required paperwork, and in the school setting providing direct instruction to students.
Compensation for this position is based on a daily rate that increases based on the number of participants served.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Experience and ability to fully utilize ZOOM or similar platforms
- Excellent time management skills
- Home office accessibility
- The ability to communicate efficiently and effectively to students
- Ability to control a virtual classroom
