Come join our team! Reporting to the Staffing Manager, the Staffing Specialist is responsible for assisting the staffing department with connecting people who have different abilities and advantages with temp-to-hire employment opportunities to achieve the highest level of independence possible.
Provides Staffing leadership and support. Screens and places potential candidates at sites best suited to their skills, abilities, and interests. Encourages and engages staff placed at commercial sites to promote stellar performance and longevity. Provides general customer service support. Conducts new-hire orientations (on-site as well as at commercial sites). Assists with recordkeeping as assigned. Backs up Manager as needed. Assists with special projects as assigned.

Requirements
Education: High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience: 1+ years’ experience in staffing industry or B2B sales strongly preferred; recruiting experience required. Requires excellent written amp; verbal communication skills (in person and over the phone), strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple tasks amp; deadlines, ability to create relationships between staff and customers, and strong time management and organizational skills. Bi-lingual language skills (Spanish, English) a plus!

Computer Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Background Checks: Must pass criminal background check, various State and Federal registry checks, DCFS Abuse and Neglect Tracking System check, and driving history check (includes Company policy criteria).
Driving: Use of personal vehicle for Company related travel is required.
