Drivers needed for an important public-awareness program that saves lives. No deliveries or passengers, you are driving through communities and distributing safety notices on select vehicles. While this is a temporary position for a specific project, there is a strong potential for long-term growth within this quickly-accelerating company for the right individuals.
We are scaling our driver fleet rapidly in every region of the USA. Our innovative programs use Carma Project's proprietary tech to identify vehicles affected by potentially life-threatening automotive recalls.

Requirements
Requirements - Safety Ambassador - Driver
- A current driver's license with a clean driving record (last three years), and can pass a background/drug test
- Work full or part-time schedule: Friday - Sunday, 6:00am-4:30pm PST
- Ability to operate and learn new technologies
- Strong communication skills

What You'll Be Doing / Responsibilities - Safety Ambassador - Driver- Drive the Carma Automotive Safety Team vehicle through designated areas and neighborhoods in the Oakland, CA area using a company-owned vehicle.
- Communicate the urgency of an active vehicle recall to vehicle owners by either leaving a safety recall notice on the vehicle or by educating a vehicle owner through (masked) face-to-face interactions.
- Participate in pilot programs to test new technologies and strategies to notify car owners of safety recalls on their vehicles. #startup
- Adhere to strict safety and quality standards on and off the road.
- Other duties, including occasional overtime, as needed.

Schedule: Day/Afternoon shift, Weekend availability. Friday - Sunday, 6:00am-4:30pm PST
Benefits: Paid training, Temporary employees, with more than three months of employment, may be eligible to qualify for company benefits (medical, dental, vision, and supplemental benefits). Eligibility will be determined based on the average hours worked per week.
