Job Description

The Feature Based Program Manager is responsible for the oversight and organization across all in-flight and future features being worked to achieve the company objectives. The Program Manager will lead all projects that feed feature and program success with strong attention to strategy, delegation, and implementation.

The Program Manager will have prior experience in program management, project management, team management, and managing the end-to-end delivery of SaaS based projects. Day to day, they will coordinate efforts between different projects. This will be accomplished by working with Scrum Masters, who in turn will be directly responsible for ensuring project deliverables within the program are completed according to measures of quality, time, and scope. This dedicated and collaborative individual is a well-rounded IT professional, who will fit with our collaborative culture and has demonstrated the ability to successfully switch between tactical and strategic mindset. The candidate will:

  • Be a vital part of the 605 team, delivering significant and impactful products and solutions to our clients
  • Spearhead a cross-organizational effort with Product, Engineering, DataOps, Data Science, and other departments as necessary, to understand deliverables and identify / manage inter-dependencies between initiatives to guide the teams to collision free success.
  • Lead Scrum Masters who will establish goals, tasks, dependencies, target dates amp; timelines, activities, owners of tasks/actions, and status for projects within the team
  • Coach/Mentor team members as needed in best practices relative to project and program methodology
  • Work with stakeholders to understand the scope of the program, and work with the Scrum Masters to ensure requirements from specific projects are communicated clearly to the Development teams
  • Create and manage program plans, ascertained by working with the Scrum Masters of teams delivering projects
  • Oversee the successful delivery of program(s) containing multiple projects; ensure the committed work is delivered to specification within the program
  • Champion an iterative planning process; work with the team to define the work that will be packaged into releases and delivered
  • Manage multiple work streams and deliverables; identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies across the program(s)
  • Manage project-based work by coordinating necessary activities and facilitate the unblocking of dependencies that have the potential to cause delays
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate updates to program stakeholders (which could be members of the project team(s), or Sr. Leadership) as needed.
  • Prepare and publish weekly (or as needed) program reports/status for the internal team and management to be informed of the program’s health (i.e., open/at risk/completed items)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Program Management
  • 5+ years of experience using Traditional Project methodology with project teams
  • 5+ years of experience using Agile (Scrum) methodology with project teams
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams
  • 3+ years of experience in implementing and delivering SaaS based products
  • Bachelor’s Degree in appropriate field of study
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills, both with external and internal stakeholders
  • Strong organizational skills (amp; attention to detail)
  • Knowledge of technical environments, comfortable interacting with all levels a must

Preferred Skills
  • Solid knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio)
  • PMP or PgMP Certification
  • Experience in ad tech or media measurement
