Job Description
Arch Aerial LLC is seeking a highly motivated Jr. Data Technician amp; Videographer to produce captivating content from the raw data captured in the course of our drone services. This is an hourly position which can expect between 30 - 40 hours per week.
Mapping or previous GIS experience is a plus. Previous drone experience is a plus.
FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES
The Data Technician - Photo amp; Video Content Editor will be responsible for the processing of aerial photography and videography captured on a daily basis by Arch Aerial UAS Pilots for delivery to our customers. In addition, the Data Technician - Photo amp; Video Content Editor will also operate UAS (drones) and ground videography and photography equipment to capture content for customers and the business itself. The Data Technician - Photo amp; Video Content Editor will also assist the CEO with creation of digital and social marketing materials and campaigns that increase awareness, stature of the company and its brand objectives.
This position is best suited for a candidate with a photography and videography editing background who are looking for hands-on experience with a fast-paced team. Headline Primary Duties
- Data Processing amp; Editing (estimated 40% of workload, will vary)
- UAS Operation (Drone Piloting) (estimated 35% of workload, will vary)
- Ground Photography amp; Videography (estimated 25% of workload, will vary)
Primary Duties (Detailed)
- Responsible for daily editing of photography and videography content produced in daily UAS (drone) operations.
- Responsible for troubleshooting customer data access issues. Must have outstanding communication skills.
- UAS (drone) operation for data capture.
- Ground photography and videography operation for data capture.
- The candidate will be trained in basic GIS skills and have the opportunity for training on mapping and GIS tools by senior staff post-hire.
- Assist with the creation of media as well as the curation of the company’s social media brand.
- Assist with creating effective marketing campaign(s) across all interactive media including Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Instagram, and blogs.
Secondary Duties (Detailed)
- Enhances the company's brand and reputation in the public's eye.
- Responsible for the identification of brand-building areas of opportunity.
- Leverages customer insight data to refine brand management.
- Ensures brand communication for areas of responsibility are consistent with the company’s brand positioning.
- Provides design ideas for collateral, web and other visual communications media for the company.
- Assists in the development and refinement of uniform graphic standards and visual brand strategies.
- Represents the company at trade marketing events to promote our services.
- Develops and maintain knowledge of our industry.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with photo and video editing software (e.g. Adobe Photoshop, Premiere and After Effects), and have a working knowledge of social media platforms from a B2B and B2C marketing standpoint.
The ideal candidate will also possess:
- Demonstrated ability to create materials that communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time with strong attention to detail.
- Strong organization skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
- Some experience with UAS (drones).
