HVAC Forensic Technician

Job Description
The primary function is to support operations at our branded company, HVACi, which include completing field inspections. The position requires travel in the Virginia, D.C. region but also across many states as needed. During the summer months, overnight travel can increase. Candidates will work closely with our scheduling department to ensure that the field inspections are scheduled and completed in a timely manner.
CCG's in-depth company training will prepare and excite you for the day-to-day operations of your role. All training is conducted in-house where you will have hands-on experience and learn all facets of our business. The ideal candidate is self-motivated.
MAJOR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The primary responsibility is to perform forensic HVAC inspections in their local region but also extended to other surrounding hotspots as needed. They will also be responsible for the following tasks:
- Complete inspections to ensure our turnaround stays within our metropolitan service areas (MSAs)
- Provide general technical support to and from internal staff and technicians in the field
- Review field technicians work to ensure professionalism, technical competence, and accuracy
- Provide coaching, training and follow up calls to field technicians
- Test, use and understand our Apps have the ability to coach and train field technicians on its functionality
Requirements
The candidate should possess the following qualifications and personal attributes:
- Willing and able to travel up to 70%
- HVAC State License and EPA is required
- At least 5 years of Commercial Field Experience
- Understands the process for determining cause of loss
- Experience with working with a scheduling department and customer service representatives
- Has experience in conflict resolution with HVAC contractors or other similar field professionals
- Has experience talking with adjusters or other similar field professionals
- Able to work on a computer for up to 8 hours a day
- Focused, self-motivated, team player and teachable
- Can use computers efficiently
- Must be dedicated solely to CCG no other HVAC business management duties/responsibilities
