The GNU Group A division of Impec Group is a San Francisco Bay Area-based, cutting-edge environmental graphic design and project management firm. GNU Group is aggressively looking for an experienced SeniorDesigner to serve as one of our "creative leaders" on our growing Design Team. We are looking for qualified and experienced designers that can actively participate in the STRATEGIC PLANNING, PROJECT VISIONING, and DIRECTION OF PROJECT TEAMS developing Architectural Sign Programs, Integrated Branding Programs and Wayfinding Programs for exterior and interior built environments.
We are looking for candidates with strategic experience in Corporate Workplace, but additional experience in Healthcare, Education, Civic, Residential, Retail, Entertainment, Hospitality, and mixed-use sectors will make you an even stronger candidate.
This critical position is a strategic leader at GNU Group and is a client-facing, problem-solver who can develop strategy, build brands, direct design, manage projects and lead teams. Candidates that possess the requisite knowledge, experience, and initiative have the potential to evolve into a principal-level position at the GNU Group.
Our team members currently enjoy a flexible, hybrid work dynamic, spending one or two days per week in the Pleasant Hill office while enjoying the benefits of the remote workforce the other days of the week. This approach ensures the safety and well-being of our teams and our clients. We prefer an in-office for the synergistic benefits, based on guidance from trusted health agencies.
