We are looking for an experienced Full Stack Developer to join our Enterprise squad in the US. The Enterprise Squad is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Oura’s B2B products. The ideal candidate wants to understand our users and listen to their needs, proactively advocates for technical investments, and is passionate about delivering quality code. We strongly value a proactive attitude and end-to-end ownership: taking a rough idea, working with others to turn it into a concrete feature or product, deploying it and monitoring its usage to make sure it solves the intended needs.
Because so much of our work is done together with other team members, empathy and excellent communication skills are very strongly valued at Oura.
You will:
- Contribute to a product that improves the lives of hundreds of thousands of people across the globe.
- Partner closely with the squad’s product manager and designers to help design and deliver great digital products.
- Write code that is easy to understand and reason about.
- Push for architectural improvements that will allow us to scale and build new types of products.
- Work closely together with other developers on the squad, both around code and team processes and practices.
- Be productive and do your best work.
- Have the ability to move to different roles across the company as Oura grows and new opportunities open up.
- Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in software engineering and apply this to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans
- Ensure that platform adheres to the latest security and compliance regulations
- Be comfortable working with a diverse and talented group of team members residing throughout the globe

Requirements
We would love to have you on our team if you have any of the following, but don’t worry too much if you don’t fill all the requirements:
- Have 4+ years of practical full-stack development work experience.
- Have front-end experience with JavaScript or TypeScript and modern libraries such as React.
- Have backend experience with Python.
- Enjoy writing maintainable and well-tested code.
- Have architected, built and deployed scalable, performant web services in production on AWS or similar platforms, and can apply architectural patterns and best practices.
- Have an affinity for automating busywork and fixing problems at the root.
- Have a pragmatic entrepreneurial attitude and delivery-focused mindset: you can handle tradeoffs between short-term goals and long-term tech debt
- Have a team-oriented mindset and enjoy working in a diverse environment with distributed teams
