We're looking for an enthusiastic and driven Analyst to join our fast-growing Financial Institutions Group in San Francisco to support the growth of our bank and credit union partnerships.
You'll be responsible for developing a best-in-class investor experience and supporting pre-close deal diligence, onboarding functions, and investor success. You will be responsible for a variety of activities related to the daily operations of the sales team from first contact to signed contracts.This team Is responsible for strategic business development and partnership opportunities to expand Upgrade’s capital base and foster the launch of new consumer asset classes.
Along the way, you'll collaborate closely with various in-house talents across our Business, Operations, and Technology teams in managing B2B marketing, CRM, and key partner relationships. The ideal candidate will need to be an independent, high-achieving individual, able to stand out in an entrepreneurial environment and own complex processes with minimal oversight.
The financial institution's team (currently 10 people) is a vital function to the continued success of Upgrade and is a great opportunity to work cross-functionally and entrepreneurially inside of a leading FinTech.Responsibilities:
  • Interface with C-level executives to get investors familiar with Upgrade’s suite of consumer products and associated investor reporting
  • Own strategic proposal process and outline Upgrade’s underwriting capabilities, digital acquisition strategy, company operations, and risk controls for prospective investors
  • Maintain and expand the internal knowledge base for use across the Sales, Onboarding, Operations, and Account Management teams
  • Assist with a variety of activities related to the daily operations of the sales team including financial and operational diligence, CRM / Salesforce, lead acquisition, and relationship management
  • Manage the on-boarding of new investors including diligence and technical implementation, work closely with legal/compliance/product
  • Maintain and expand internal sales knowledge base and documentation of key processes
  • Spearhead content creation for outbound marketing efforts
  • Manage partner due diligence efforts and sales team support
  • Enable more personal and compelling selling experience
Skills:
  • 3+ years of experience in investment banking, client-facing role at a FinTech, or alternative capital markets experience
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented and a strong client service orientation
  • Experience with Excel, Powerpoint, Salesforce, Pardot, Jira / Confluence preferred
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills, comfortable interacting with clients and senior stakeholders
  • Flexibility to prioritize, balance and respond to competing needs within a growing organization
  • Experience operating in a fast-paced environment and comfortable prioritizing critical issues
  • Good judgment and excellent interpersonal skills
